Job Position: Front Desk Officer
Job Location: Awka, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Carry out check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle reservations through phone and online platforms
  • Notify customers about payment options and confirm transactions
  • Register guests by gathering key details (such as contact information and stay duration)
  • Receive guests warmly and assign their rooms
  • Share details about our hotel, rooms, prices, and services
  • Attend to customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Work with housekeeping to make sure rooms are clean, organized, and fully equipped to meet guest needs
  • Verify group bookings and plan customized services for VIPs or event guests such as wedding attendees
  • Offer additional services and upgrades where necessary
  • Keep accurate records of all bookings and payments

Requirements and Skills

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree; a degree in Hotel Management is an added advantage with at least 2 years of experience
  • Previous work experience in a similar role like Hotel Front Desk Agent or Receptionist
  • Knowledge of hotel software systems such as Vita soft
  • Familiarity with travel websites such as Booking.com and TripAdvisor
  • Strong customer care attitude
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational ability
