Requirements
Physical and Medical Fitness: You need to be physically and medically fit to qualify.
Nigerian Citizenship: You must be a citizen of Nigeria.
Age Limits:
- For tradesmen and women: Between 18 and 25 years, except for assistant chaplains/assistant imams and drivers who should be between 18 and 28 years.
- For drivers: Must be between 18 and 22 years by 28 February 2024.
Certificate of State of Origin: You should possess a valid certificate of state of origin signed by the Local government authorities.
- Height Requirement: For females, not less than 1.63 metres (5.3ft), and for male candidates, not less than 1.66 metres (5.4ft).
- Clean Record: You must not have any disciplinary case or criminal conviction.
- Proof of Age: You need to present a valid birth certificate or an age declaration.
Educational Qualifications:
- For tradesmen and tradeswomen: At least a lower credit in ND/NCE or a relevant trade certificate from approved Government Institutions/Organizations, with a minimum of 2 passes and a credit in English in not more than 2 sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
- For sportsmen/women: Provide evidence of experience, including certificates and medals.
- For all: Possess a minimum of 5 credits in no more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, including English and Mathematics.
- For drivers: Minimum of 2 passes in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, with a credit in English and a Trade Test Certificate.
- Marital Status: All applicants must be single.
- No Secret Society: You must not belong to any secret society, cult, or fraternity.

Important Points to Note:
- Single Application Only: Every interested applicant can submit only one application. If you submit more than one application, you will be automatically disqualified.
- Attestation Form Requirements: When submitting the Attestation Form, it must be accompanied by a passport photograph and a photocopy of the signee’s Drivers Licence, International Passport, or National ID Card. The signee should also authenticate the applicant’s passport photograph.
- Notification of Success: If your application is successful, your name will appear on the NAF shortlist. You will then be contacted through your registered email address and scheduled for the next phase of the Nigerian Air Force training exercise.
