1.) Logistics Officer
Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Summary
The Logistics Officer will provide dependable logistics and transportation support to the GPD team based in Kaduna.
This role involves complying with all relevant driving regulations, safety protocols, and road usage guidelines per Nigerian Highway Code standards.
The officer will help meet project transportation needs and participate in the planning and execution of both short-term and long-term logistics activities, contributing to the successful achievement of program deliverables and organizational mission.
Academic Qualification & Experience
- At least 4 years of hands-on driving experience in a professional setting
- Completion of certified driving training (preferred)
- Fluent in English, Hausa, and other local dialects
- Previous experience working with NGOs or international bodies is an added benefit
Core Skills & Competencies
- Possession of a valid driving license
- Knowledge and application of defensive driving techniques
- Effective communication abilities
- Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and care

2.) Communication Coordinator
Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
Global Peace Development (GPD) is looking for a passionate and experienced Communications Coordinator to take charge of all communication and media-related tasks.
The ideal candidate will craft and execute communications strategies that increase the organization’s visibility, highlight program outcomes, and build stronger ties with partners, donors, and the public.
The role requires proficiency in content writing, media outreach, visual branding, and storytelling with social impact. Occasional field visits may be required.
Designing branded materials such as flyers, banners, and notepads using CorelDRAW is a critical part of this role.
Key Duties
- Handle all media and communication efforts of the organization
- Regularly update the organization’s social media pages and website with engaging posts, photos, videos, and infographics
- Work closely with program units to produce reports, stories, newsletters, and updates
- Create and edit written content including annual reports and briefs
- Track media engagement and report communication outcomes
- Provide communication materials for donor reports and proposals
- Design various branded and communication visuals
- Use CorelDRAW and other design tools to meet GPD’s visual identity standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, or Media (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in communications, preferably in the development or nonprofit sector
- Experience in managing social media and digital content
- Strong content writing and editing skills
- Competent in using Canva, Adobe tools, WordPress, and similar platforms
- Strong interpersonal abilities for teamwork and external engagement

3.) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Manager

Job Overview
Global Peace Development (GPD) is hiring a knowledgeable and results-oriented MEAL Manager to lead efforts in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning across project locations.
The successful candidate will establish and execute effective MEAL systems to enhance program quality, ensure compliance, and enable evidence-based decision-making.
This role also includes mentoring teams, strengthening accountability frameworks, and representing GPD in key stakeholder meetings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee organization-wide MEAL strategies and project-level plans
- Ensure timely and quality data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Build the capacity of staff in MEAL tools and techniques
- Set up feedback and complaints mechanisms that function effectively
- Contribute MEAL inputs (logframes, indicators, results) for proposals
- Represent the organization at donor and partner meetings concerning MEAL
- Maintain databases of project indicators and performance metrics
Eligibility & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related area (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEAL roles within the NGO sector
- Strong grasp of donor reporting standards
- Proven ability to develop MEAL systems, tools, and strategies
- Skilled in SPSS, STATA, Power BI, and other data analysis tools
- Excellent facilitation, writing, and communication skills
- Capable of coordinating field data collection and managing remote teams
