Abia State is aiming to recruit 5,000 teachers for both primary and secondary schools. This initiative is to address the lack of qualified teachers in the state. There is no specific mention of positions beyond primary and secondary school teachers.

• Degrees in education (B.Ed, B.A. Ed) or related fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths).
