Community Police Assistants (CPAs):
The Ghana Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is hiring Community Protection Assistants! They are working with the Ghana Police Service to find new people for this program.
To apply, you must be between 18 and 35 years old and have at least a Senior High School diploma. If you get hired, you will be a YEA beneficiary for two years.

Community Health Workers (CHWs):
In line with Regulation (1b) of the Youth Employment Agency Regulation 2016, the YEA is collaborating with the Ghana Health Service (LI. 2231) to implement the Community Health Workers (CHWs) Program. The program aims to bolster the community health workforce, improve access to healthcare services in rural areas, contribute to Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and address issues related to COVID-19.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (females are encouraged to apply).
- For education, you must have completed at least Senior High School and passed English and Mathematics.
- You should be fluent in English and also be able to speak at least one local language.
- It’s necessary to have the ability to use a smartphone, or be willing to learn how to use one.
- Only those who are shortlisted and successfully complete the CHW training program will be offered employment.
- Role of Community Health Workers:
CHWs act as a bridge between communities and healthcare service providers. They are not health professionals but are recruited from the community and trained to facilitate service delivery.
